Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging is the translation
of heat energy into visual image. Since all objects are at different
temperatures, the camera creates a visual image of the sited object's thermal
energy and the surrounding environment based on the differences in the
temperatures.
Many Fire Department are adding Thermal Imaging camera's to their
inventory of search and rescue equipment. Efficient use of thermal imaging
requires training under realistic fire conditions. This 1 day, 8 hour , live fire training class provides you with the
knowledge, skills, and experience for effective and successful use of the thermal
imaging cameras in firefighting, and search & rescue operations. During the
class you will use various manufactures cameras in a burn building to observe
changes in fire conditions, locate the seat of the fire, safely and quickly
locate victims or missing firefighters.

- Search and Rescue operations with thermal
camera
- Observe fire behavior with thermal camera
