Equipment To Bring
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT TO FIRE TRAINING COURSES:
- NFPA Compliant Turnout Gear including: Coat, Pants, Boots, Helmet, Hood, and Gloves
- SCBA; Positive Pressure w/ a Spare Cylinder
- PASS device
- 2 Lights
- Knee & Elbow Pads for under turnout gear
- Dry Clothes
- Fluids, Food, and any other personal items necessary
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING TO TECHNICAL RESCUE TRAINING COURSES
- Knee & Elbow pads
- Duct Tape
- Tool Pouch, Nail Apron
- Dry Clothes & Towel
- Sun Block
- Rain Gear
- Fluids, Food and any personal items needed
In addition to the above:
Rope Rescue; Fire or Rescue
Style Helmet w/ chinstrap, Leather or
Rope Rescue Gloves, Eye Protection,
Safety Toe Boots or Shoes, Rain Gear
and Class 3 Harness.
Cold Water Rescue; This Program
requires the student to have a cold
water/ ice rescue suit as the majority
of the class is held in the water. The
suit must be a current edition with a
chest harness, whistle and light. A
helmet with a chinstrap and reflective
markings is also required. Also
flashlight, stocking hat, gloves,
towel, change of clothes, socks and
boots.
Confined Space; NFPA Compliant Turnout Gear
(Coat , Pants, Boots, Helmet
w/chinstrap, Hood and Gloves),
Pass Device, Positive Pressure SCBA
w/ Spare Cylinder, NFPA Class 3 Harness, 2
Green Chemical Light Sticks, Towel,
Change of Clothing, Socks and boots.
Trench Rescue; Fire, Rescue or
Construction Style Helmet, Eye
Protection, Ear Plugs, Work Gloves, Hammer,
Tape Measure, Pencil, Rain Gear and
Safety Toe Boots or Shoes.
Auto Extrication; NFPA
Compliant Turnout Gear (Coat ,
Pants, Boots, Helmet w/chinstrap, Hood
and Gloves), Eye Protection and
Firefighters and/ or Extrication
Gloves.
