WHEN: April 23, 24, & 30, May 3, 7, & 9, 2019

This 6-day 48 hour training course is for fire officers and covers government organization,
functions and relations, maximizing member performance, professional development, policy
and budget development, procurement, report writing, planning for agency change, fire
cause and origin, emergency incident operational plans, post incident analysis, data analysis
for service demands and firefighter health and safety program analysis. Instruction will be
provided by Certified Fire Instructors and Officers, Credentialed Fire Chiefs as well as Dr.
David Griffin, Battalion Chief – Charleston, SC Fire Department.

WHEN: February 26, 28 & March 5, 7, 12 & 14, 2019

This 6 Day, 40 Hour training course is for supervisory officers and covers effectively
managing emergency scene operations, supervising personnel, and communicating with the
public. This program will be presented by Barnstable County Fire Rescue Training Academy
staff, Fire Chiefs and IAFF Master Trainer and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Fire Officer
Lionel Crowther.
